All systems supplied and installed by EDS carry a full 12 month's parts and labour warranty on-site.
The systems are guaranteed by us. We don't send you to chase the service agent, or the supplier or the manufacturer.
No run-arounds!
The warranty includes all batteries including the replacement of rechargable ones where necessary. Included in the service
is a once-yearly free system check which includes visual inspection of the control unit and all the sensors and a software
download for backup purpose.
After the initial year guarantee, comprehensive service contracts can be taken out.
Service is provided during normal office hours of 9:00 - 5:00 pm, Sunday -Thursday not including public holidays.
Service outside these hours can be arranged at normal company service-call rates.
The guarantee/warranty does not cover damage caused by carelessness, unauthorised repair, theft, damage caused by intruders
or any damage that normally would be covered by an insurance policy.
Typically an annual service contract will cost 10% of the price of a new wired system or 15% of the price of
a new wireless system.
